Conservation Intern Kassidy Kingston from the Provincial Archives of Alberta explains the difference between buffered and unbuffered tissue paper which is used for archival preservation and storage techniques. A video demonstration shares with viewers the considerations for conserving photo albums, books, flat textiles, and garments. The examples featured in this video are inspired by commonly asked questions regarding the storage of common heirlooms and the effective use of archival supplies which are available for purchase in the Archives Store.
