Drop by any time between 10:00am and 4:00pm and join our interpreters on a tour of the home of Alberta’s first premier and found of the University of Alberta! When Alberta became a province in 1905, it was Alexander Cameron Rutherford’s responsibility to get Alberta established and to move it forward, and to ensure that citizens had the opportunity to prosper. Come and learn about how he fostered connectivity throughout Alberta through his work on the railroads, Alberta Government Telephones and the hundreds of schools and libraries established while he was premier!
