Alberta History Tours: Historical Walking Tour – Mount Pleasant Cemetery

Join local historical interpreter, Tim Marriott, on a walking tour of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. More than 100 years after Strathcona ceased being a separate city, this cemetery reflects the ongoing distinctiveness of the Southside. We will visit the grave stones of politicians, educators and community leaders and learn the story behind why this hill was chosen to be the Strathcona cemetery .
The tour will happen rain or shine, on mostly flat ground.
