Alberta History Tours: Historical Walking Tour – Beechmount Cemetery

Join local historical interpreter, Tim Marriott, on a walking tour of Beechmount Cemetery. This is a unique look at how everyday Edmontonians have memorialized their loved ones for over a century. This includes the Cross of Sacrifice which honours Edmonton’s war dead. Beechmount Cemetery includes a dedicated space for Edmonton’s Islamic community and displays the wonderful mosaic of people from all over the world who contributed to Edmonton’s history. Meeting details will be sent to registrants.
The tour will happen rain or shine, on mostly flat ground.
