Please join us for our Annual General Meeting. Although we cannot gather in person due to the ongoing pandemic, your attendance at the virtual AGM would be most welcome. The AGM is an opportunity for the Board to report to our members on our activities for the past year, to present the audited financial statements, and for the members to vote on new board members and other resolutions that may arise.
Like many organizations, we are embracing new technology during this difficult time. In an effort to keep our members safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Annual General Meeting will be held online through Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account to participate. Simply click on the link that is provided and it will bring you into the event.
Due to inevitable technical difficulties, we ask that participants start signing in at 6:30, to ensure that all of our participants have arrived by our 7 pm start time. We understand you lead busy lives and we value your time: we anticipate that the AGM will take no more than 30 minutes.
To help us keep track of registrants, please register below to indicate your intention to participate. If there will be other members with you during the AGM, please include their name(s) under “Names of Guests”. We are collecting your email address only to facilitate the AGM. In the week leading up to the event, we will email you with instructions on getting into the event, and with a complete AGM package, including agenda, annual report, and audited financial statements.
For those of you unable to attend, our annual report is available on our website, and we will record the proceedings and have them available on our website for the month of July.
