FROM THE LINK TRAINER TO WARTIME COMBAT AND THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN

Speaker: John Chalmers

The Battle of Britain raged in the skies over England from July to October 1940 during the Second World War. This presentation illustrates the battle, its aircraft and the pilots. Connections between Canada and the war began with pilot training, and Alberta is still linked to that wartime conflict today in the province’s aviation museums that keep history alive.

We would like to invite you to join us for this exciting presentation! Due to COVID, we have decided to go with a virtual Christmas party. Please wear a little bling in your hair, earrings, necklace, tie or garment and have your favourite beverage of choice by your side to enjoy this festive event. The event will start with some festive activities followed by our guest speaker for the evening.
