With the AGM comes the election of new board members! As we have held a number of vacant positions for the 2024/25 season, we are looking to fill a number of roles to start of 2025/26 on the best foot possible.
Vice-President – This role is incredibly important this year. Whether to take over as president in 2026/27 or to maintain continuity. The VP also serves as a festival liaison, which is a vital piece of the EDHS puzzle.
Newsletter Chair and Editor – In charge of this seasonal newsletter, this chair seeks out local stories and the people who write them, they also liaise with our editor, designer, and printer. We are also seeking an editor, this is a great opportunity for a student or anyone passionate about correcting grammar.
Advocacy Chair – With our city currently seeing big campaigns to save built heritage like Save the Old RAM and Bring Back the Princess, it is more important than ever to revive our advocacy committee.
Grants Chair – Tasked with both advertising grants available through us like the one listed above and applying for and seeking out grants for the EDHS, This role is essential for keeping the organization and its events afloat.
